Worshipful Brother William Langlands Ogg was born in Vancouver, B.C and raised in Prince George, B.C. He joined the Bank of Commerce (now the CIBC) after completing high school and eventually became a branch manager in Vanderhoof, Prince George and Duncan, B.C.
Wor. Brother Gray was Initiated and Passed in Temple Lodge in 1926. He was Raised in 1927.
Wor. Brother William Langlands Ogg served Temple Lodge as Junior Warden (1950), Senior Warden (1970) and Worshipful Master in 1971.

"OGG — William Langlands, passed away peacefully at Wing View Seniors Home in Ladysmith, BC with his family at his side on Sunday, March 2, 2003; predeceased by his son Bill Jr. in May 2000. Beloved husband, father and grandfather. Lovingly survived by his wife Helen (Jackson) daughter Mary (Gary) Zak, son Bruce (Barbara), grandchildren Michael, Rebecca and Lisa Zak, sisters Mary Morris and Isabel McMillan and extended family, as well as many dear friends. Bill was born in Vancouver, BC and raised in Prince George, BC. He joined the Bank of Commerce after completing high school and served as a Link Trainer Instructor in WWII. He returned to the bank after the war, eventually becoming branch manager in Vanderhoof, Prince George and Duncan, BC.. He retired in 1975 to enjoy many happy years of golf and travel. He gave many years of devoted service in the fraternal order of Masons, Eastern Star and the Shrine Club, Bill also served as treasurer of Golfers Against Cancer for many years, and was a long time member of the Cowichan Golf and Country Club.
A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at the Duncan United Church, 246 Ingram Street, Duncan, BC on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 12:30 pm. The Reverend Duncan Barwise, officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined, Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 108-225 Canada Avenue, Duncan, BC V9L 1T6 or the Shrine Hospital for Crippled Children, PO Box 5369, Station B, Victoria, BC V8R 6S4.The family wish to express deepest gratitude to the kind and loving care provided by Dr. Julian Lisinski and Mary and Ivan Proud and their staff of Wing View Seniors Home.
Bill will remain forever as a song in our hearts.
